De Colores! The bishop has appointed me to serve as the Diocesan Spiritual Director for Cursillo during 2008. Dave Libbers, Cindi Johnson, John King, and Deanna Johnson will be serving on the Secretariat. We are in the process of reorganizing the servant community and Secretariat. Watch your email for news and information as we will be planning several events to reconnect the Cursillo Community in Louisiana. Much help will be needed to rebuild our servant community.
We have posted a copy of the annual report of Cursillo to the Diocese on our web site. Currently the team for Cursillo # 142 is in the final stages of preparation for Cursillo Weekend #142 which will be held this weekend April 3-6. Please continue to pray for the team and for the Candidates that will make their Cursillo pilgrimage this weekend. A list of candidates and staff is now available on the www.cursillolouisiana.com website and will continue to be updated. Currently we have 17 candidates signed up for the weekend. Please see the list of needs below this letter for how you can help support the current weekend. Also, I hope you will make plans to attend Clausura, which will be held in the chapel at the Conference Center on Sunday April 6. Both the weekend team and the candidates will be blessed through a strong show of fourth day support. Plan to arrive at the conference center by 2:45. The candidates will be arriving in the chapel at 3:00 p.m.

Please go to the “Info” tab and complete the information form so that we can add you to our data base. Due to the relocation of many following the hurricanes we are working to rebuild our data base.
Cecile Farris will serve as lay rector for the summer Cursillo. Please keep her in your prayers as she begins to prepare for the summer weekend that will be held July 24-27.
