Grace and Peace to you from God
our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ,
I'm honored to report that Cursillo #143 was a total success -- Thanks be to God - Father Son and Holy Spirit!
The Staff had many obstacles to over come but through the Grace of God and your prayer support we persevered in a big way.
There is no doubt in my mind that the 10 candidates actually got it!
Spiritual Directors Stephen Craft and Deacon Milton Gibson's meditations and the staff's rollos were clearly inspired by the Holy Spirit.
Fr. Stephen's last meditation of the day summed it up beautifully - we as Christians are called to be active in spreading God's Word in our many environments.
I can't thank the servant community enough for all their support. It is amazing how something as simple as handwritten palanca can show so much love and support and warm people's hearts.
Thank you to Vicki and John King, Fr. Ernie, Brenda and Sarah Saik for helping with the Agape. The candidates were surprised and overwhelmed at such a display of love.
Thank you also for those who came to the Closing. Your presence shows the candidates that the servant community does actually care and support the Cursillo Movement.
As for August's Ultreya...
Karen and I would love to combined it with the candidates 4th Day and Welcome Home party and are looking for feedback on which Saturday in August would be the best option.
Please respond to this email which date works best for you -- August 9th, 16th, 23rd or 30th. (morning, afternoon or evening)
Once I hear back from the candidates, we'll set a date and let all of you know.
In His service,
Cecile Farris
